Field of Flowers (2005)
Materials: Venetian glass and ceramic tile
Size: panel 1: 6’high x 3’wide; panel 2: 7.5’ high x 3.5’wide; 3’ high x 4’ wide

Commissioned for a country home near Eugene, Oregon, these three panels of silhouetted sunflowers are a backdrop to a bronze sculpture of a scarecrow by Mexican sculptor, Guillermo Gomez Macias. The panels represent the changing seasons of life and are positioned around a circular patio garden with the sculpture as center piece.
