Phase III (October 2000)
First National Bank Downtown Beautification Project, Columbia, Missouri
Three eight-foot sculptural, steel-frame, terrazzo benches with ceramic and Venetian glass mosaic with bronze inlays depict a prairie fire on one facade and a thunderstorm triptych on the reverse. All benches were created in collaboration with fabricators and terrazzo artisans Paul Ater and Reno Rigutto and a team of craftsmen. |

Two fifteen-foot sculptural, steel-frame, terrazzo benches with incorporated planters flank the main entrance to the bank on the sidewalk of Broadway. Mosaic designs were done in ceramic and Venetian glass with bronze inlays. |

First National Bank Downtown Beautification Project, Columbia, Missouri
Two twenty-foot sculptural benches surround the sculpture of the pocket park in downtown Columbia next to the bank building, the centerpiece of the renovation/beautification project. The benches are steel-frame with terrazzo, overlaid with mosaic designs depicting Missouri wildflowers with bronze inlays. |

Grass Fence and Gate (January 2000)
First National Bank Downtown Beautification Project, Columbia, Missouri
Thirty-six-foot iron fence depicting wheat grass blowing in the wind encloses the entrance to the bank’s downtown pocket park near the front entrance to the bank. Local artist David Thompson fabricated the fence with assistance and design by Mary Beth Llorens. |
